Moving into the second half of 2022, investment in proptech shows no signs of slowing.

Moving toward some automation of preliminary inspections is a goal of T2D2, a startup spun off from structural engineer Thornton Tomasetti in 2020.

Thornton Tomasetti, the international engineering firm, today announced that the Institute of Physics, a worldwide scientific society working to advance physics for the benefit of all, has awarded the firm the prestigious Business Innovation Award for 2017.

We announced earlier that Thornton Tomasetti chose The Combine as their partner to take their most interesting internal innovations to market. We have since launched the first of those concepts – Konstru – and will be announcing several more later this year.

The Lean startup methodology drives most tech startups today, and rightfully so. However, this methodology has been around just long enough to the point that people are messing it up. It’s called “lean” for a reason: it’s simple. Keep it that way.
